Elementary and Middle School Volleyball Team is on a roll, achieving wins against Harlan Independent and Oneida Baptist!
Let's relive the exciting highlights from A and B Team's win against Harlan Independent on Tuesday, February 25th!

Presenting Red Bird's starting six for the B team: Bella Smith (6th Grade), Gracen Caldwell (6th Grade), Brailyn Smallwood (6th Grade), Ashlyn Adams (5th Grade), Emma Kulp (5th Grade), and Kambree Holland (4th Grade). Harlan Independent School triumphs in the first set of the night with a score of 21 to 18. Unshaken in their confidence, B Team starts the second set strong and stages a comeback with a score of 21 to 16. Red Bird triumphantly takes the second set of the game, as victory is in sight. Starting the final set with hopes as high as their serves, Red Bird B Team secures a triumphant 15-12 victory!

A Team is already revving up, eager to spike their way to victory!
Announcing the starting lineup for Red Bird's A Team: Alexis Akers (8th grade), Laya Estep (7th grade), Sarah Fee (7th grade), Taylor Parsley (7th grade), Peyton Smallwood (7th grade), Gracen Caldwell (6th grade), and Bella Smith (6th grade) as the Libero. Starting the game out with impressive teamwork of “bump, set, spikes” A Team wins the first set of the game and ready to move on to set 2 for the victory. With a score of 25-12 in the final set of the game, Red Bird fans leap from their seats, applauding enthusiastically as A Team triumphs over Harlan Independent.

No matter the outcome of the game, the Red Bird Christian School Volleyball Team always shows grace, class, and top-notch sportsmanship.
Volleyball coach, Kaitlin Brock, states,
“I am so incredibly proud of these girls! We have had limited practice time due to inclement weather, yet they put their all into that little bit of time and their hard work has shown. They are all so incredibly supportive of each other and have truly worked as a team. The future is in fact very bright for the Red Bird Volleyball program!”
